Milestone for a 6 month old:

  • Your six month old may have doubled their birth weight by now
  • Your six month old can probably sit up on their own
  • Your six month old can probably roll backwards and forwards and wriggled their way short distances across the floor
  • If your baby’s eyes have changed color since birth, the color they are now is probably how they will stay
  • Your six month old will be babbling and taking more notice of what you say and how you say it. If you haven’t started bed time stories yet, now is a great time to start.
